Gjemnessundbrua is a suspension bridge that crosses Gjemnessundet between the mainland and Bergsøya in Møre og Romsdal. Gjemnessundbrua is part of the "Krifast" mainland connection to Kristiansund.
The seabirds that use Gjemnessundbrua as incubation space, a problem is that the bird manure that corrodes concrete and damage it. To prevent this, the bridge has been cleaned and portions of the concrete are covered with a membrane that protects the concrete.
