Centennial Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Panama. This is the second bridge that crosses the Panama Canal after the Bridge of the America that connects North and South America. Another bridge was needed when the capacity of the Bridge of America was used up.
Construction of the bridge began in 2002 and in 2004 it opened.
The bridge is 1052 meters ashore and has a span of 420 meters.
