The Replot Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that connects the island of Replot with the mainland of Finland. The fixed ferry connection between the island and the mainland began in 1952. In 1980, a study began on improving the ferry connection or building a bridge. The construction of the bridge started in 1996 and the bridge opened in 1997 when it replaced the ferry connection. The bridge is 1,045 meters long and the largest span is 250 meters. The towers are 82 meters high
