Xihoumen Bridge is the worlds fifth largest suspension bridge with a free span of 1,650 meters. The bridge is located in the province of Zhejiang in China. The bridge connects with two other bridges Zhoushan archipelago (about 1.1 million people) to the mainland. Construction of Xihoumen bridge started in 2005 and in 2009 it opened for traffic.
